On Sunday 4th February 2007 over 300 people turned up to show their support.

Over 300 people supported the campaign

More than 60 people attended the Friends of Red House Park meeting on 19th February. Councillor Bob Badham was griiled by residents over plans for the building. They were told the cost of bringing the building back into use has been estimated at £1.7 million.

As reported in the press there is growing concern for the future of the house - see Great Barr Observer (PDF) article here. The Great Barr Observer is supporting the cause, please complete the petition in this weeks (26/1/07) edition. Article online here... with further article from 2nd February edition online here...

While there are a number of proposals the council have not accepted any ideas for the house.
